Abstract (EN)

With the transcription of our thesis titled Transcription and Evaluation of the Urfa Sher`iyye Registry No. 215/2 (H. 1321-1324 / 1904-1906), the case subjects of the documents in the book were determined and evaluations were made regarding their contents. The aim of this study is to reveal the disputes in the social, economic and commercial life of the people of Urfa between 1904-1906, the litigation issues between individuals, and the functioning of state and foundation institutions in the light of the records in the Urfa Shar'îyye Registry No. 215/2. In addition, this study aims to provide a modest contribution to the researchers who will study local history with the data on the social, economic and cultural life of various racial, linguistic, religious and sectarian groups living in Urfa by drawing attention to the importance of Shar'îyye Registers in urban history research.
