Abstract (EN)
Historical documents are among the most fundamental sources for understanding the political, social, and economic structures of past societies. Among these documents, şer'iyye registers provide unique data that go beyond judicial records, reflecting in detail the social relations, economic dynamics, and cultural practices of the period. This study examines various structures within the Crimean Khanate during the period based on the transcription of the Crimean şer'iyye register number 23b (H. 1087–1092 / M. 1676–1681). Within the scope of administrative structure, the function of the kaza and its subdivisions have been identified. In the context of the socio-cultural structure, topics such as family life, slavery, types of crimes, titles, and occupational groups have been addressed. The economic structure is evaluated through livestock activities, trade relations, currency and measurement units used, and elements of material culture. The findings offer a broad perspective ranging from everyday life practices to state-society relations in the Crimean Khanate and aim to contribute to the existing literature.
