Abstract (EN)

360 degree performance appraisal system, assesses the performance of employee by obtaining information from various sources; and assists both individual and corporate development through the feedback. Todays´s enterprises can use the human resources effectively only by obtaining the extensive and correct information about those resources. By the traditional performance assessment methods, these information cannot be obtained. Therefore the enterprises prefer the 360 degree performance appraisal system.The objective of this study is to determine the perception differences of the evaluator groups in the assessment in 360 degree performance appraisal system; and to research the relation between these differences and the demographic and employment characteristics of the evaluators.In the first part of the study; the conceptual framework of the traditional performance assessment is examined and information is given about the various performance assessment methods.In the second part of the study; the 360 degree performance appraisal system is examined; and the benefits of the method to the evaluator parties and the more effective implementation ways of the process and method is set forth.In the third part; 360 degree performance appraisal system is applied in an enterprise which is active in the organised industrial zone. The questionnaire including the questions about the performance is prepared pursuant to the 5? likert scale; and in the analysis of the questionnaire data Kruskal Wallis, Kolmogorov ? Smirnov, Mann ?
