Abstract (EN)
In this study, the inhibition effect of 4- Piperridinecarboxylicacid on the corrosion performance of copper has been investigated in 0,5M H2SO4 solution using potentiodynamic polarization and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS). Current-potential curve and Nyquist diagrams were obtained in different concentrations of 4- Piperridinecarboxylicacid. The surface morphology of copper after their exposure to 0,5 M H2SO4 solution with and without of 4- Piperridinecarboxylicacid with one-hour immersion time was examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The obtained results show that, 4- Piperridinecarboxylicacid inhibits corrosion of copper in 0,5M H2SO4 solution. This inhibition effect more pronounces with increasing inhibitor concentration at these conditions.
