Abstract (EN)
Divân-ı Hümâyûn, highest governing body of the Ottoman State, was the most important institution within the Ottoman central organization. The internal and external affairs of the state were discussed and decided in the Divân-ı Hümâyûn. Mühimme Notebooks is a series of notebooks that emerged by recording the edicts and names written for the important decisions that were discussed and taken in the Divan-ı Hümâyûn. Therefore, it is possible to find a lot of information in these notebooks that will shed light on the political, administrative, economic and cultural events that were transferred to the Divan-ı Hümâyûn. Mühimme Book numbered 67, which we have transcribed and evaluated includes the eventsof the Murad III period in the years 1589-1591. Although banditry activities are the mainsubjects of the notebook, it has a wide range of subjects such as the supply ofgrain andsoldiers, butchery, repair and construction of foundation works, appointments and timarallocation. In this study; General information about the Mühimme Notebooks was given, thehape features, transcription and brief summaries of the provisions of the examined notebook were made, and the events in its content were analyzed and evaluated together with othersources of the period.
