Abstract (EN)

Muhimme Registers are the registers in which all kinds of the domestic and foreign policies of the Ottoman Empire discussed and decided in the Divan-ı Hümâyûn are recorded. These registers are the first hand sources to illuminate the political, military, economic, social and social events of the period in which it was written. Muhimme Register numbered 73, which we have transcribed and evaluated, contains the last years of the reign of Murad III (1574-1595) and the first year of the reign of Mehmed III (1595-1603). Generally, the register contains information about the years 1594-1595, the bandit events of the time, the logistics of the expedition and the supply of soldiers for the expeditions, the construction and repair of places such as the road-mosque-the bridge, the provision of sacred towns for Istanbul and the profession of butcher. In this thesis, after the transcription and evaluation of the Muhimme 73, the summary of the provisions and the information about the contents of the register are given.
