After the winning of the `Turkish War of Independence?; Turkish Militaryforces first military exercise was realized between October 8-14, 1926, inAnkara-Polatlı by fourth Army Corps.The military exercise was conducted by, the first Army Inspector MajorGeneral Ali Sait AKBAYTUGAN whose the headquarters was in Ankara; andunder the command of the fourth Army Corps Commander Major GeneralEmin KORAL whose the headquarters was in Eskişehir. The military exercisehas a special place in history as it also embraced our air forces for the firsttime ever. They achieved important things.The military exercise started in 8 October 1926 between Ankara andPolatlı, and ended on October 14 1926, in Lodumlubel. The military exercisewas deserved by Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, president smet nönü, Chiefof General Staff Marshall Fevzi Çakmak, and Kazım Özalp, the president ofthe Turkısh General National Assembly. This military exercise was Atatürk?slast exercise with his rank as a Marshall.
