Oğuz D NÇIn this study, current land use maps were created and the study that was made by aırphotography was updated for the Observation and Application Farm of Agriculture Faculty inÇukurova University.The pan- sharpened image of 0.6m. resolution was obtained by matching thepanchomatic and multispectral images that were taken by the digital satellite data of 14August 2004 which used to obtain current land use maps of the study area. The land usedetermine with visual interpretation, confirmed with area control according to CORINE. Thechanges in the land cover types since 1996 this are also stuied. These datas can be useful forother studies.As a result of the study, ıt was put forward that more detailed and true as cartographicdatas can be obtained by the usage of high resolution satellite for area studies.Key words: OuickBird, Çukurova University, Land Use, CORINE.
