The education chapter and possible effects of EU education system on Turkish education system during EU negotitations process

ABSTRACT "EFFECT OF EU EDUCATION SYSTEM TO THE TURKISH EDUCATION SYSTEM DURING THE EU NEGOTIATION PROCESS" Yunus GÜNEY Turkey's EU negotiation policies have been researched within the EU membership process in this study. Turkey's education system, Europe Union's education system and education policies, EU education programs and projects, studies conducted for the compliance of Turkey's education system to the EU acquis and the effects of these studies to the Turkish education system have been investigated and examined. The study has a descriptive nature and the current situation has been revealed about this subject by using screening model. Education system and education policies of Turkey have been explained and described in the first part of the study. Information about historical processes and organizational structure of EU and relationship of Turkey and Europe Unions has been given in the second part of the study. EU's establishment process, education policies and education systems have been dealt in the second part of the study. It has been focused on the effects of EU education system to Turkish education system during EU negotiation process and compliance works to EU acquis in the field of education in Turkey in the third part of the study.
