Effects of Ibn Mas'ud narrations on formation of Hanafi fiqh idea

Abdullah Ibn Masud was one of the featured companions with his closeness to the Prophet(s.a.w.), his intelligence, education talent, authority on Qur'an and sunnah. He heard and narrated lots of hadith from Prophet(s.a.w.) because of he converted his religion to Islam in early times and his closeness to Prophet(s.a.w.) Our thesis is a study that shows effects of Ibn Mas'ud narrations on formation of Hanafi Fiqh Idea. This study is consisted of introduction, two bodies and conclusion parts. At first in introduction, some informations about topic, purpose and method of our thesis were given in order to decide frame of the study. Then life of Ibn Mas'ud, his scholarity and his effects on formation of Hanafi Fiqh Idea were touched on. In second part, Ibn Mas'ud narrations that Hanafi scholars act and give reference were mentioned. In this part, first one of two bodies of our study, we discussed decretals(laws) about fiqh with titles of ibâdât, mu'âmalât and ukûbât. These were analyzed as subtitles under the title of Ibn Mas'ud narrations. In third part, his narrations that Hanafi scholars don't give reference, were touched on. This part was divided into two in itself. In first part, narrations, not given reference in spite of being compatible with opinion of the sect, were touched on. In second part, narrations, not competible with opinion of the sect, judged opposite were touched on. In this part also, second one of two bodies of our study, decretals(laws) about fiqh were analyzed with titles of ibâdât, mu'âmalât and ukûbât again. These were analyzed as subtitles under the title of Ibn Mas'ud narrations in the same way. In conclusion, opininons about how much do these analyzed Ibn Masud narrations effect Hanafi Fiqh Idea were touched on.
