Abi̇ş Keki̇lbayev, his life, his literary personality and his selected stories

Abiş Kekilbayev, who is one of the most important names of the both Soviet and Independence eras of Kazakh literature, has contributed to the development of storytelling in Kazakh literature especially with the stories he had written in the Soviet era. In our study, we have aimed to analyze the narrations of Abiş Kekilbayev and to set his importance and position in Kazakh literature with reference to this analysis. In the "Introduction" part of this study, consisting of three main parts and the result part too, general information about the Kazakh literature and the development of story in Kazakh literature is given. Researches about Abiş Kekilbayev's biography, literary personality and works take part in the "First Part" of the study. In this section it is mentioned that the author, who has poems, stories, plays, novels and research papers, has a versatile literary personality. In the "Second Part", seven stories of Abiş Kekilbayev are construed. Respectively plot, summary, characters, setting, language and style analysis are presented. Texts of construed stories, which are translated from Kazakh Turkish to Turkey Turkish by us, take part in the "Third Part". In the "Result" part, a general assessment has been done about Abiş Kekilbayev's biography, literary personality and his selected stories. Inferences and opinions are presented.
