Abstract (EN)

Post-blast dimensional fragmentations, results ofe bench blastings, has utmost importance because of both expolsion efficiency evaluation and has direct effect on ongoing loading-hauling operations. Therefore it is considerably important that, determining post-blast dimensional fragmentation by considering simulation parameters and rock-mass spesifications. In this research, bench blasting operations realized in a quarry which provides crushing-screening plant placed in Afyonkarahisar Beyyazı and Emirdağ were investigated, and used design parameters and post-blast fragmentation was determined. Step size distribution of the stack as a result of blasting and blasting operations are in progress as well as the direct impact on the efficiency rating. In this sense, before blasting design parameters and determine the size distribution of the rock mass properties considering its importance. Post-Blast fragmentation was determined with Split-Desktop software by using image analysis method. In bench blasting operations, for testing the results of the JKSimBlast software in estimating the post-blast fragmantation, mean fragment size which was calculated by JKSimBlast was compared with the real fragment/size calculated by Split-Desktop software. It is observed that, JKSimBlast software gives very similar results to the real fragmentation values which were obtained from the quarry. This study will consist of selected design parameters and can predict particle size JKSimBlast concluded that using the program.
