Abstract (EN)
In this study, it had been intended to investigate the precautions that should be taken to provide acoustic comfort conditions, during the design of the open planned office places which have been in common use also in our country nowadays. For this aim, acoustic measurements were performed in the open planned office spaces of the Sitecco company, Kartal-Istanbul and Bosch company, Umraniye-Istanbul. These spaces were digitally modelled by using the software Odeon 8.0 which performs the exact acoustic calculations with the impressions of radial analysis. The acoustic comfort conditions of both two spaces were analized in different sound absorption properties and separator heights by the Odeon 8.0 software. In conclusion, even if successfull results were takenby the means of acoustic comfort, it was proved that acoustic comfort elements required to be one of the design objectives of the architects durig the design process.
