Abstract (EN)
Business economy must be taken into account while keeping the growth factors of the plants grown in greenhouses at an optimum level due to the increasing input prices. Increasing energy prices discourage producers from heating in the greenhouse during cold periods, or the producer has to continue production with very little profit. Reducing heating costs in greenhouses; It is possible to reduce the heat requirement, to obtain heat energy cheaply, efficiently and environmentally, and to reduce the losses that occur during the transmission of energy. Heating costs in high-tech greenhouses that are regularly heated are in the first place or second after labor, depending on the climate of the region, among operating expenses. Heating costs in greenhouses that are regularly heated in the Mediterranean region take the second place with 20-25%, while it takes the first place in cold regions. Due to the continuous increase in fossil fuel prices used in heating and the carbon emission given to the atmosphere, greenhouse businesses are in a constant search to reduce the amount of energy used in heating in order to maintain their existence. In this study, it is aimed to determine the amount of energy that can be saved depending on different measures in greenhouses in Adana climate conditions. According to the results of this thesis, it is planned to offer suggestions to both researchers and manufacturers about which methods can be more effective.
