Abstract (EN)

This study was Soybean is one of the oldest crop that had been cultivated and planted in the history of humanity. It is believed that homeland of soybean is East Asia probably China.Nowadays world's soybean production has reached almost 170-180 million tons. USA has the largest share with 50 percent of the total production, Brazil, Argentina and China comes after USA.Soybean production used to be cultivated on Aegean and Mediterranean but on the last 20 years Cukurova region became the main production area for soybean after the start of secondary product Project of soybean.Soybean is an important raw material source in all around the World. It is used as a raw material of more than 200 industrial products such as Ink, paper, textile, glue, paint, oil, food, fuel, feed etc.Soyben is a product that has many uses for human beings and touches almost every point of our lives. İnvestigation of Pesticide Usage Level and source of information in Soybean Cultivation is vital for to protect farmers from unnecesary inputs costs and to provide healtier products to customers.The aim of this research is to determine the current structure of soybean producers in Adana province, to determine the levels of chemical input usage and to determine the sources of information that play a role in the spread of soybean production, both in the use of inputs.The main material of the research will be the data obtained from the surveys conducted by the soybean producers in Karatas and Yuregir districts where soybean cultivation is most concentrated in Adana province.
