Abstract (EN)

Retrospective analysis of the operated patients with adrenal masses between 2002-2015 This retrospective study was performed on 181 patients with adrenal masses who operated in the Medical Faculty of Dokuz Eylul University between 2002 and 2015. We use patient's archival file and the hospital information system. It has attempted to obtain histological tips of the adrenal masses with patient's evaluations of radiological and pathological analysis performed in this study. We examined the adrenalectomy and fine needle aspiration in our hospital. We examined surgery causes and histological results. In addition this retrospective analysis provide to check pre-diagnosis and reconsideration by related departments. It examined of correlation between radiological findings and histopathological results. It has resulted in rates;it is found pheochromocytoma 14,6 percent, primary aldosteronism 9,6 percent, metastasis 23,0 percent, adrenocortical carcinoma 3,4 percent, subclinical Cushing's syndrome 6,7 percent,androgen-secreting adrenal tumors 0,6 percent, congenital adrenal hyperplasia 0,6 percent, with bilateral adrenal hyperfunction 3,4 percent, overt Cushing's syndrome 15,7 percent, incidental pheochromocytoma 1,7 percent, reason of surgery unknowns 1,1 percent, adrenal hematoma 0,6 percent, nonfunctional 15,2 percent.
