Abstract (EN)
Aim: Pre-hospital emergency health services are developing rapidly in Turkey. In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the emergency call requests of the cases and the services offered to these cases together with the applications made in other ambulance services in the world by examining the data of the 112 emergency health services provided in Adıyaman province for the years 2015-2019. Material and Method: It is a descriptive study. The data were obtained by retrospectively examining the 112 Emergency Health Services and hospital records between 2015 and 2019. Results: In the province of Adıyaman, there is one station per 20-30 thousand inhabitants. The most common type of station is A2 stations. In 2019, among the personel working with in the scope of emergency health services, there are the highest rate of Emergency Medical Technicians, followed by paramedics, drivers, other health personel and doctors. The average age of ambulances is 4.9. In 2016, a total of 40,632 cases were encountered, with the highest number of transfers to the hospital. It was mostly transferred to public hospitals for medical reasons and most of them. The pre-diagnoses of these cases are psychiatric, CVS, traumas and respiratory system problems. Conclusion: When compared with other practises in the world, it has been determined that 112 emergency health services are significantly widespread and effective in Turkey and Adıyaman.
