Abstract (EN)

The yield of the areas used for animal production is decreasing due to misuse. One of the most important contributions of natural pastures to soil fertility is the source of plant nutrients, and the other important contribution is soil improvement and erosion control. Pasture areas are environments where the roughage needed for animal production is provided under the most suitable conditions. Knowing the physical, chemical and even mineralogical properties of pasture soils in order to increase animal production is very important in terms of soil quality, productivity and sustainability. In this study, as a result of the analysis of soil samples of different pasture areas in Adıyaman; EC value 4.1 dS m-1 to 0.68 dS m-1, organic matter 5.54% to 2.16%, pH 8.86 to 7.86, lime content 32.47% to 1.13% was found among As a result of the measurements made with the X-ray device, it was determined that Illite, Quartz and Chlorite minerals are located in variable proportions in all pasture soils.
