Abstract (EN)
In this study, followed by the general information given on terminology and science history related to cryptology, electronic threats, information security facts, cryptanalytic attacks, crypto systems and cryptographic protocols; crypto systems have been taken in detail as two parts: symmetric (secret key) and asymmetric (public key) systems. In addition, mathematical basics and structures of AES block cipher algorithm, that is nowadays not only accepted as a standard but as an inseparable part of almost all software and hardware based cryptographic applications, have been discussed in detail. Furthermore, a modelling of this algorithm, which operates in different modes and gives permission to the use of file and text based encryption and decryption, has been implemented. In this modelling, C++ was chosen as the programming language. Keywords : AES, cryptography, number theory, block cipher
