Abstract (EN)
This thesis, which examines the Doric architectural elements in Aigai, aims to date and document the architectural elements found in the city by considering the buildings. It is seen that the buildings that were built or repaired with the influence of the Pergamon Kingdom, which was seen intensively in the city especially in the Hellenistic Period, were built in a similar way to the Pergamon architectural style. The Kingdom of Pergamon, the absolute power of the period, adopted its architectural style not only in Aigai but also in many other cities. The architectural elements of the city, which was rebuilt after the middle of the 2nd century BC, show the common practices of the period. Especially the Temple of Athena is known to have been in use since the 7th century BC thanks to archaeological finds. Although it is an important structure for the city, it is known that many architectural pieces were moved from the area due to its destruction. Almost all of the buildings in the city were built in Doric order. The Ionic order was not preferred in the city except for the stoa. It is possible that the dating of the other buildings other than the Bouleuterion, whose excavation has been completed, may change with new findings as the archaeological excavations are carried out.
