Abstract (EN)
The academic performance evaluated as the most important demonstration of the academicians can be evaluated depending on various factors. While it is known that academicians have a higher lifestyle awareness than the general population with a normal cultural level, it is wondered how this awareness affects academic performance. In this study, academic performance indicators were taken as dependent variables. Some of the variables selected as independent variables were nutrition type, body mass index, lifestyle, socio-economic status. A questionnaire study consisting of 33 questions prepared for the required variables was applied to the academicians working at different universities and the data set was prepared. Thus, while the relationship between health and academic performance is examined on one hand, differences between institutions are also examined. Thus, academicians in different institutional cultures are primarily aimed to understand the influence of various factors on academic performance. In this study, statistical methods such as Multiple Regression Analysis and Clustering Analysis methods were evaluated.
