The geotecnical investigation of Akhisar

In this text the geotecnıcal investigation of Akhisar and surround done.40 Boreholes openned. With the help of the laboratary results the soil class has been identified by the way the Ground Bore Log prepared. Bearing capacity and settlement calculations were done. The bearing capacity is between 1,4 kg/cm2 - 1,7 kg/cm2. The settlement calculations were done and it has been disignated that it?s better to choose the foundation depth between 1,0m an 1,50m. The probable problems of the land and solutions were presented.At the end of the study; Akhisar is in the first degreed earthquake zone so that the construction envisage had to be convenient for the earthquake regulations. Although the soil investigation and foundation calculation were done.The study area has not liquefaction risk.
