Abstract (EN)
The rate of use of technology is increasing day by day in order to make our daily life easier and to increase efficiency and add functionality. Thanks to the constantly changing and developing technology, the concept of smart home has emerged and its use has become widespread in different areas. Smart home systems have many advantages such as accessing all electronic parts of our house with a single interface, providing remote control in busy living standards regardless of distance from home, aiming to keep security at a high level, increasing savings measures and providing many advantages in terms of comfort. In the thesis, information will be given about what smart home systems are, how they work, what advantages they offer, what their types are, the classification of materials used, the design, installation, operation and benefits of renewable smart homes that produce their own energy. There will be detailed information about what homeowners should pay attention to when choosing these systems. It is aimed to meet the energy needs of the houses by using renewable energy sources, to reduce the dependence on fossil fuels and thus to save costs. A sample smart home system model and the equipment used are explained in detail. Thanks to the hybrid system formed by the joint use of solar and wind energy, energy production from renewable energy sources and the hardware parts used are classified in detail. The study describes in detail components such as monocrystalline solar panels, wind turbines, inverters, batteries and paco switches, and how they work and are used together. In addition, the installation, maintenance, operation and benefits of these systems were also discussed, and attention was drawn to the increasing importance and future potential of renewable smart homes that produce their own energy.
