Blockchain, the latest version of internet technology, has begun to offer humanity many extraordinary and unusual opportunities in many different areas. Blockchain technology has now enabled the active and efficient implementation of many ideas that in the past remained only at the project and thought stage like smart contracts. Blockchain, which is an extremely new, flexible and unusual concept, and smart contracts, which is now applicable in a much different dimension thanks to it, were analyzed in the first and second parts of our study. Crowdfunding is an important source of funding that offers the opportunity to implement much larger-scale projects with the resources provided by small-scale investors and is becoming increasingly popular day by day. Crowdfunding is regulated by SPKan m. 35 and Comminique III-35/A.2 issued by SPKur in accordance with this article. In the third part of our study, the concept of crowdfunding is examined in the light of this notification and current developments. Blockchain technology is one of the rare structures that has managed to create its own universe. This universe can carry out financial transactions with its own assets. These assets are technically offered to the public through processes called ICO (initial coin offering). In the fourth part of our study, ICO processes and financial assets offered to the public as a result of these processes were examined. In the anise section of our study, ICO processes and crowdfunding, both of which are microfinancing, are compared.
