Evaluation of irrigation performance in Akıncı plain irrigation union

This study was carried out in the area that was established according to the Municipality Law Nr. 1580 and transferred to Akıncı Plain Irrigation Union in 1998 with the approval of the Ministry. In the study, it was aimed to evaluate the irrigation performance of Akıncı Plain Irrigation Union, located in Kahramankazan District of Ankara Province, between the years 2016-2020. In the evaluation; water application, financial and agricultural production performances were determined. On average; "The agricultural production value in the gross irrigation area was determined as 2015.67 TL ha-1, the agricultural production value in the net irrigated area was determined as 8353.23 TL ha-1, the agricultural production value according to the water taken into the network was 0.52 TL m-3, and the agricultural production value according to the plant water consumption was 2.10 TL m-3. Net water supply rate is 413.20%, gross water supply rate is 194%, water distribution capacity rate is 497.1%, return on investment rate is 50%, financial adequacy ratio is 34.41%, amount of water applied to the gross irrigation area is 3714,23 m³ ha-1, amount of water applied to the net irrigated area is 16159,61 m³ ha-1, irrigation rate is 23%, irrigation efficiency is 24.36%, operating maintenance and repair costs per gross irrigation area is 71,26 TL ha-1, collection rate is 28.53%, cost per person employed is 61.95 TL person-1, number of people employed in the net irrigated area is 0.0039 person ha-1, unit price of water taken into the network is 0.0102 TL m-3 and ratio of maintenance-repair expenses to income is calculated as 28.77%.
