Investigating the effect of sodium metaborate exi̇stence on sodium borohydride?s hydrogen storage capacity

In this study, the sodium metaborate, which is applicable in various industrial area, and its metastable zone that is very important in production obtained by crystalization method, and the formation of nucleation are investigated to obtain the neccesary thermodynamic parameters and diffusion coefficient. In addition, the effect of sodium metaborate on hydrogen storage capacity of sodium borohyride solutions that is known as one of the best hydrogen storage source today, are investigated in various rate of sodium borohyride medium. In order to product hydrogen from sodium borohydride, the ergonomic conditions of Co-B catalyst that has a maximum surface activity which is prepared under microwave conditions, are determined. In the same catalyst presence, the kinetic parameters and the activation energy values of hydrogen production from sodium borohyride are calculated.
