Abstract (EN)

Coronary Artery Disease (CAD) is the most common heart disease. Acute Coronary Syndrome (ACS) is a series of clinical conditions that cause myocardial infarction (MI) as a result of insufficient perfusion of the myocardium with sudden decrease in coronary artery flow. It is known that cardiac troponins are used as sensitive and specific markers in cardiac muscle damage. The aim of this study; to investigate the relationship between Troponin and ADAMTS in patients with Acute Coronary Syndrome. Our study was carried out with the participation of 14 women and 30 men diagnosed with ACS over the age of 25 in the experimental group, and 19 healthy women and 26 healthy men in the experimental group. Patients with ACS were detected with high troponin in serum in their blood samples. Antopometric measurements of the patient and control groups were performed and their serums were separated from the blood samples. Then, ADAMTS4 and ADAMTS9 were studied by Enzyme-Linked ImmunoSorbent Assay (ELISA) method. There was a significant difference between the patient and control groups in terms of troponin levels (p<0.001); Likewise, ADAMTS4 proteins were found to be significantly higher in the patient group than the control group (p<0.001). There was no significant difference between the two groups in terms of ADAMTS9 values (p=0.519). As a result, it was seen that ADAMTS4, like troponin levels, created a significant difference between the patient and control group, and ADAMTS4 has the potential to be used as a marker in ACS. However, more detailed studies are needed for the role of ADAMTS9. Keywords: Troponine, ACS, ADAMTS.
