Abstract (EN)
The concept of shopping and the physical and perceptual characteristics of shopping areas are ever-changing. The study aimed to present the transformations of shopping areas in the world and in TurkeyIn today's ever-changing and developing world order, the individual and single acts in the field of shopping have been replaced by specified and organized acts, just like in all other fields. The approaches and concepts that were discussed in the study were illustrated with reference to the example of Beylikdüzü, one of the fast-growing districts in İstanbul, and forward-looking analyses were done considering the present condition of existing investments.
