Abstract (EN)

In this research informations obtained from books about the head decoratives and finishing clothes in terms of colour, technical features, variety in decoration in Amasya, Suluova county. Studying these; it is aimed to document their contribution to economy and culture.The universe of this research consists of Amasya, Suluova county and its 10 villages and museums. The sample of the research consists of the twenty families who have got the traditional decoratives and finishing clothes; and the twelve head decoratives in the museum.During the process of obtaining informations, books and articles were scanned, information and observation charts were used. The informations about the using areas of these samples, aims, materials, tecnique, colours, dimensions, and people as a source including their persentages, were presented in these observation charts after being interpreting.As a conclusion of the research; it couldn't be reached to the women wearing these tradional head decoratives. The socand hand helmets in boxes were put on and photographed. Nowadays the women wearing more practical clothes in Suluova have adorned themselves by using new and fancy scarfs.Depending on the datas based on the research; the number of tradional head decoratives are getting fewer day by day. Tradional head decoratives and materials used in have changed as time goes on. It's included as a suggestion that tradional cultural varieties should be evaluated in terms of tourism and economical contribution.
