Abstract (EN)

The United States of America and the European Union, that have been deeply affected by the global economic crisis in 2008, have constituted Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership as they couldn't get the results they want in negotiations with World Trade Organization. The USA and EU have aimed to get over the crisis with the Free Trade Agreement they constituted, therefore they also aim to balance China with the integration of the West. It is foreseen that the Free Trade Agreement which included nearly half of the global economy, will be one of the main determinant integrations around the world. In this study, the economic conditions of the participating countries and the changes before and after the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. Besides, the effects of the agreement to Turkey and, if not signed possible losses will be investigated. And the alternative ways to make Turkey a part of the agreement will be analyzed. Keywords: Free Trade Agreements (FTA), New Generation Free Trade Agreements, Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP)
