Abstract (EN)
"Accent" is defined as the whole of verbal ways of expression peculiar to a certain region or community within the borders of a language or dialect. The basis of the tribes coming to Anatolia is formed by the Oghuz tribe. Therefore the essence of the language and accent structure depends upon the Oghuz Turkish. 23 of the 24 Oghuz tribes have taken part in the settlement of Anatolia. Anatolian accents are divided into three main accent groups: 1. Eastern Group accents, 2. Northeastern Group accents, 3. Western Group accents. In this study which we prepared for the purpose of determining variety of affixes of gerund in Anatolian accents, tendency of extension in these affixes, their archaic types and their differences from written language, we examined the sound system, function and usage characteristics of affixes and reached the following: Affixes of gerund represent different geographical distributions from the point of view of their usage of field and their frequent usages. This geographical distribution and preferences are relevant closely to the structure of Anatolia consisting of "Oghuz Turks" on top and other Turkish tribes. Types different from written language which emerge together with various affixes, adverbs and particles in Anatolian accents exhibit various dimensions of the event of affix accumulation. It is understood that this procedure will continue in this manner. For example, the -arak gerund affix was expanded and turned into -araktan by the -dan ablative affix, which waslater expanded into -araktana by -a affix. It is possible that this form should develop as -araktanam, -araktanak or -araktanaz. Functions as well as forms of affixes of gerund in accents are also much more than those of written language. Many affixes preserve their oldest functions in the accents.
