Abstract (EN)
In 550 B.C., The Persian Empire had gone out of existence, by means of the defeat of III. Dara by Alexander the Great in 330, B.C. After he had destroyed the II. Kuroş Med Kingdom, he gained ground of the inner part of Anatolia and founded a great great empire on this big area, which is surrounded from Eagean coast to the Indus River and from Caspion coast to the Nile.II. Kuroş , known with the epithed of ''great'', didn't subjugated not only the capitol of Lidya Kingdom, Sard, but also made Anatolia under the Persian hegomany about 200 years,by defeating Kroisos, the King of Lidya, in 547, B.C. with the subjugation of Sard, Persians met the Kroisos's coins, which was the first coins used by them. With the succeeding of I. Dara to the throne of Persians, the first coins of Persians were issued and started to be used this coins which had been named as 'coins of empire'; had undergone some kind of changes after I. Dara and destroyet until the end of the Persian Empire.
