Abstract (EN)
Two examples of Bahtiyâr-nâme mathnawis are known in the Anatolian field. The first of these works was written by Pir Mahmud b. Pir Ali in the second half of the 14th century. The second Bahtiyâr-nâme mathnawi belongs to Ömer, a poet of the 15th century. In the thesis titled A Comparative Study on Turkish Bahtiyâr-nâme Mathnawis of the Anatolian Field, information about the historical development of Bahtiyâr-nâmes and the verse Bahtiyâr-nâmes and their characteristics in Anatolian field Turkish literature is included. After the summaries of the two Bahtiyâr-nâme mathnawis written in 14th and 15th centuries, when the first and original examples of Anatolian field Turkish literature were written, starting from Lümatü's-sirac, which is the first example of the work in Persian literature, under the titles of frame story and sub-stories; The works were compared under the headings of plot, narrative techniques, characters, time, place, language-style and idea. It is anticipated that this comparative study, which will be prepared on these mesnevi texts that use the source text in Persian literature in different ways and undergo changes, will contribute theoretically and practically to the 14th-15th century Turkish literature, mesnevi research, technical structure studies, and comparative literature applications. In addition, the study is also important in terms of being the first thesis to be prepared comparatively on the Bahtiyâr-nâme mesnevis.
