Abstract (EN)

The aim of this study is to identify the awareness levels of the state school EFL teachers on Reflective Teaching and whether they prefer using reflective teaching in their profession or not. The study consists of five chapters. These are introduction to the study, literature review part, the methodology of the study, data analysis and interpretation, conclusion and suggestions. Chapter 1 consists of introduction, the problem, aim and scope of the study, methodology and assumptions. Chapter 2 consists of the literature review section. In this chapter, models of reflective teaching; the background of reflective teaching, the definition of reflective teaching, types of reflection, forms of reflective teaching practice, strengths and pitfalls of reflective teaching are intoduced. Chapter 3 contains the methodology of the study. The introduction to the methodology is introduced in a detailed way.The subjects, materials and procedure of the study are described in the third chapter Chapter 4 contains data analysis, interpretations, result and discussion. Chapter 5 includes the overall conclusion of the study, teacher training and development, and suggestions to improve teacher development are introduced.
