Abstract (EN)

The main objective of this study is to determine the reasons for using e-learning nowadays. In modern society, information technology (e-learning) is becoming essential in the educational institutions as a mean for teaching and communicating between the instructors and their students. As online learning continues to gain widespread attention as an alternative for classroom teaching, educational institutions and instructors face the challenge of building and sustaining student trust in an e-learning environment. This study aimed to evaluate the relationships between the factors affecting technology acceptance and students' intention in online courses depending on the UTAUT2 model. The researcher has reviewed the current literature, employed measurement items from existing scales, collected data by questionnaire from students at universities and educational institutes in Lebanon, and used the statistical techniques based on SPSS to examine the proposed model.
