The analysis of political news about solution process: 2009-2014

The Kurdish problem, which has started in the last period of the Ottoman Empire and extended to the present day, is one of the most important issues that concern Turkey. This is one of the most important steps taken by the government to solve the problem has been Kurdish–Turkish peace process or shortly "Solution Process". Solution Process announced for the first time and laid down dramatically in 2009, although sometimes interrupted between 2009-2014, it has continued until now. After a long period of time books have been written and studies have been made about this process that allows recognition of the first Kurdish identity. This research is the subject of approaches to Solution Process,too. The aim of the research is to demonstrate the handling of news on the main stream of the Internet news sites about solution process. The population of the study consisted of Internet news sites. The sample space is in the form of İnternet news sites of Hurriyet, Milliyet, Sabah and Zaman newspapers. Document analysis was used for the collection of data on research, content analysis was used to analyze the data and generated content analysis were revealed to evaluate the data obtained by the form analyzing findings. According to the results obtained in the study the maximum news about "Resolution Process" has given in 2014. Internet news site that gives the most news about it has been www.milliyet.com.tr. The most widely used names in the newspapers were "Solution Process" and "Democratic Opening". "Kurdish problem" phrase was included in the newspaper as the maximum for the source of the problem. This study have been reached results that the newspaper presented these news in a neutral way. As a result, obtained data is shown in the table in detail and reviews have been revealed.
