Abstract (EN)

In this research it is aimed to evaluate preschool children?s visual art activities in terms of creativity. In the research, -2007-2008 2008-2009 education periods-it is benefited from a group of sixth age childeren?s visual art activities in official and private total 25 schools of national education. Preschool children?s visual art activities, observations and evaluation papers of their creativities are formed this research datas. The research started in determined kindergartens and education period with the photographies of the exhibited visual arts.Also, the environment and teachers? behaviours are observed while the children are drawing their pictures. The determined visual art activities are evaluated according to creativity criterions by three experts in Gazi University Fine Arts Education Deparment. At the end of the research data evaluations, ıt can be seen that copy, stenciling ruler, imitating activities are used by the children but in drawings they don?t benefit from kids? imaginations also technique materials are given to kids limited and that given materials are not help the kids to distinguish their technique opportunities and also kids are not motivated before activity or during activity.It can be said that visual art activities done by kids ; are only helping their handcrafts and filling their empty times.So their activities are not original or different.Finally it can be said that kindergarten teachers don?t make kids to create their original visual arts so those arts don?t support kids?creativity devolopments.
