Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, Turkish folk tales and animated movies are compared. In this comparison process, these two types are handled in terms of ?themes?, ?characters?, ?environment?, ?way of living,? tradition and beliefs? and ?formals?. The outcomes obtained from the comparison of these two types are examined in terms of child education.The main aim of the study is to introduce cultural basis of animated movies that were mostly preferred movie type of children in 21th century surrounded by visualization and to identify the effects of messages of these movies on children.
