Abstract (EN)
Applications in phytotherapy are getting popular in recent years due to the interest of natural sources. As a part of phytotherapy, medicinal herbal teas, being widely used for medical purposes, are still maintain their importance. In different regions of our country different cultures are used many herbs as medicinal teas. In our research taking into consideration of medical usage of different herbs used as teas, Etlik region which is one of the migration places of Ankara is chosen for investigation. The herbs used as tea were bought from the selected akhtars in that region. The morphological and microbiological investigations of the materials were done in the laboratory and their binomial names were determined. The identified plants were collected as monographs after reviewing the scientific publications done for their chemical constituents and their risks on health. Considering the scientific data of the herbs which are used as medicinal teas in Etlik Region were then discussed from the point of public health.
