Abstract (EN)
In this study; it is tried to specify empirical relation for regression index ofAnkara clay and validity of empirical relations for Ankara clay, suggested bysome researcher?s (Terzaghi&Peck,Azzous, Hough, Nishida, Özdikmen,Skempton, Kenet, Lav&Ansal, Sarıgül(Şaşmaz)), was discussed. Parallelresearches on the field study and experimental study, done at GaziUniversity Technical Education Faculty Structure Education DepartmentGround Mechanic Laboratory, were used to define regression index ofAnkara clay. To determine regression index of Ankara clay, empirical relationwas obtained and optimum result of real Ankara clay regression indexrelation was defined by RMSE statistics method.Science Code :Key Words : Ankara clay, regression index, clay.Page Number : 91Adviser : Doç.Dr. Mehmet ORHAN
