Abstract (EN)
This study has made real with the aim of transferring problems of theAntakya city urban area and the historical culture to the nextgeneration. The other aims of this study are; fraying of the residenceareas, which is registered in 1975, gradually, the uncontrolled practiceof the control system in spite of the conservation plan, the fixing of theintensive destruction which is existed by the users changing offers. Atthe same time the problems of the conserving duration in Turkey areevaluated. This study, which has realized in the urban area, emphasizesthe social, cultural, religious and trade places of Antakya and, theoriginality of its multi-cultural social structure by moving away fromtoday?s destroyed condition and offers to be an active and sustainablearea.
