Abstract (EN)
Traditional arts have been one of the valuable fields that have kept the cultural memory of societies alive for centuries and played a key role in the transmission of identity. In this study, the Alevi-Bektashi tradition, which holds an important place within the rich cultural fabric of Anatolia, and one of its prominent figures, Dervish-i Abdal Musa, have been the central focus. The research was conducted within the framework of qualitative methods, and data was collected through field research, observation, and document analysis. During the fieldwork carried out in the Elmalı Tekke Village and its surrounding area, face-to-face interviews were held with the local population, and the transmission of the legends attributed to Dervısh-ı Abdal Musa today, as well as the narratives that have been forgotten or altered, were systematically evaluated. Additionally, in the study, sacred sites around the Dervish-i Abdal Musa Dergâh, such as Kan Kuyusu (Blood Well), Zemzem Kuyusu (Zemzem Well), Dilek Ağacı (Wish Tree), and Taş Yapıştırma (Stone Placement), where ritual practices take place, have been examined. The role of the rituals conducted at these sites in cultural continuity and their vividness in collective memory have been observed. The identified legends have been visualized using the unique aesthetic understanding and traditional techniques of miniature art, thereby documenting the elements of oral culture and demonstrating how this heritage has reached the present day and how traditional cultural elements can be revitalized through artistic interpretation.
