Gender analysis and information sources of member and non-member farmers dairy cow breaders union in Central town of Antalya province

In this study, Gender analysis and information sources of member and non-member farmers of dairy cow breaders union in central town of Antalya province were determined in this respect, socio-economic features of producers, general information about member and non-member farmings of the union and comparison of member and non-member farmings were studied. Data used in the research were obtained from 8 villages (Yeniköy, Yeşilbayır, Kovanlık, Karataş, Yağca, Bıyıklı, Aşağıoba, Dereli) where the farmings are located. In this scope which getting, data houshold, rollers, contribution, participations on farmers of dairy cow breaders were appeard. In the study, some -selected features of the producers between being member and non-member of the union were determined statistically using khi- square test. In such condition khi-square test can not be used, hipotise control (z distribution) which based on differences between proportions applied.
