Abstract (EN)
It is seen that a large part of Turkey is located in the earthquake zone due to its location and the population density is spread over the regions with earthquake risk. In recent years, major destructions and losses have occurred in earthquakes. The disasters experienced have brought the issue of examining the earthquake resistance of the existing building stock to the agenda. A detailed examination of the entire building stock in Turkey will not be possible in terms of time and cost due to the large amount of building stock. Fast scanning methods are used to examine the building stock quickly. Although definitive results cannot be obtained with fast scanning methods, priority buildings are quickly determined for detailed analysis according to the risk level and risk status of the buildings. In this study, Dokuma region of Kepez district of Antalya was examined. The structures in this region generally consist of similar structures with similar structural features. The majority of the structures were built after 1980s and are still in use. Many studies have been conducted and various methods have been developed for the evaluation of structures. In this study, the structures were examined using FEMA-154 Fast Visual Scanning Method. The thesis consists of seven chapters: In the first chapter, information is given about the earthquake zones and location of Turkey. In the second chapter, information is given about the major earthquakes that occurred in Turkey as a result of these earthquakes. In the third chapter, a literature review of fast scanning methods is made, how to apply the programming sections of the methods is explained and information is given about the programming phase of the FEMA-154 Fast Visual Scanning Method, which is the subject of this distribution. In the fourth chapter, Level 1 Point programming and detailed analysis requirements are determined by using the FEMA-154 Fast Visual Method on a structure in the Dokuma region and 12 different distributed architectural and static projects. In the fifth chapter, the evaluation process, management year, soil characteristics of the region and calculations and final comments are detailed. In the sixth chapter, the precautions to be taken are explained considering the calculations and inferences obtained from the study. In the seventh chapter, the bibliography is given.
