Abstract (EN)
Antibacterial activity of Anthemis tinctoria was investigated.Antibacterial activities of maceration extract, total methanol extract andfractions of Anthemis tinctoria against various bacteria were determined.Methanol extract was fractionated respectively with n-hexane,dichloromethane, ethyl acetate and n-butanol. Disc diffusion methodwas used for antibacterial activity study. Then zones of inhibition aroundthe disc were measured and extracts which are active were tested forMIC and MBC.
