Abstract (EN)

This research is a self-reflective study, that analyzes the causes and consequences of anxiety disorders in a sociocultural context. As well as, the cultural and social causes of women's anxiety disorders, there are also several consequences of it in a cultural and social context. The main reason for doing this study was that, as a person who has been struggling with anxiety disorder for many years, I had the chance to observe the individuals who are living with this disorder, I saw that every individual's experience of anxiety disorder was unique, yet the causes and consequences had common socio-cultural backgrounds. In this study, it is aimed to look at the common sociocultural causes and consequences of this unique experience from the perspective of cultural anthropology.
