Abstract (EN)

This thesis aims to examine the Air Defense Missiles that arise as a need against the developing ballistic missile technology day by day and to create doctrines about the capability of Anti Ballistic Missile Systems that can perform exo-atmospheric interception. Trajectory calculations were performed for short, medium, intermediate, and intercontinental ballistic missiles in different categories, and trajectory simulations were created using the MATLAB-Simulink programme. The basic concepts of Air Defense Systems are explained and how they are classified is explained with examples. By examining the guidance methods that can be used in Missile Systems, it has been observed that the evasion distance can be minimized by applying the Proportional Navigation Guidance Method against Ballistic Missiles. Based on High Altitude Air Defense Missile Systems capable of exo-atmospheric interception, it is aimed to prevent Ballistic Missiles in 4 different categories by using the Proportional Navigation Guidance method. With the MATLAB-Simulink program, the interception region and the interception time were extracted for the scenarios in which sequential simulations were performed at certain time intervals. Obtained data is shown with avoidance time, altitude-time, and distance-time graphs by applying the interpolation method. By sharing the data obtained in the studies, timetable-based doctrines were created for the user of the High Altitude Air Defense Missile System. Comments on the optimization of the studies in the future are given.
