Abstract (EN)

The history of the Egyptian civilization, one of the most known civilizations in antiquity, starts almost 4000 BC. From the formation of civilization, Ancient Egyptian Artworks show their existence. Art of Ancient Egyptian has developed in every branch from the first periods to the last periods but lost identity with the occupation of Rome. As a result, Art of Ancient Egyptian remained covered with desert sands. After Napoleon's expedition to Egypt in 1799, Ancient Egyptian Artworks began to surface. With Jean François Champollion's deciphering of hieroglyphs, Howard Carter's discovery of Tutankhamun's tomb, and the display of a bust of Nefertiti in 1923, Ancient Egyptian artworks have reached the modern age with great interest. In this thesis work, the Ancient Egypt Artworks were examined, and it was aimed to determine the effects of the works on today's textile and fashion in line with these studies. A jacket design application was made by using the knowledge, ideas and techniques obtained at the end of the study.
