Evaluation of agricultural management costs pre- and post- land consolidation projects

In this study, land consolidation practices carriedout in the agricultural land of Kesik Quarter of Yeşilhisar District of Kayseri Province were takenin to consideration in order to evaluate the agricultural management costsbefore and after land consolidation. The aim ofthis study is to determine the contribution of land consolidation activitiesto enterprise economy. Landconsolidationprojectsprovideaccesstoparcels, theparcelsarearrangedandmergedparcels, theeffectiveuse of waterresourcesassociatedwiththereduction of costs has manybenefits. Inthisresearch, theuse of inputs in agriculture in non-aggregatedandaggregatedconditions, theaggregation rate of theprojects, theeffect of aggregation on the size andnumber of parcelshape, the time differencebeforeandafteraggregationandthechangeperformances in fuelconsumptionweredeterminedandcompared. 5 sampleenterpriseswereselectedfromthestudyarea Changes in pathlengthsandroutesweredetermined. Inordertodeterminethe total amount of reduction in theroads, thelength of theroadtraveledtoreachallparcelsfromthevillagecenterwasmeasured in Netcad CIS 7.0computerenvironment. Aftertheconsolidation, thenumber of parcelswithoutfacade has decreasedandthenumberandproportion of rectangularparcels, whichareparcelshape, havebeenincreased in terms of ease of agriculturalmechanization. Thenumber of parcelsbeforeconsolidationdecreasedfrom 2136 to 1562 afterconsolidation. Inaddition, theratio of rectangularparcelsbeforeconsolidationwas 38.25% and 48.05% afterconsolidation. Theaggregation rate was 26.87%. Inthisstudy, fuelconsumption of June 2019 andinstrumentequipmentsto be usedweredetermined. Dieselpricewastaken as 6.35TL / ltforthe Yeşilhisar District of Kayseri. In the study, after the consolidationthechanges in theroadlengthsbetweentheoperationcenterandtheparcelsweretakenintoaccountandthe total working time wasdeterminedbytakingintoaccountthetractorspeedfactorsperfieldandwithinthefieldandsaving time. Inthisway, theuse of correctandefficientmechanization has increasedthequalityandgrowth in agriculture. Withlandconsolidation, thecost of versiondecreasesandcostsarereduced at varyingrates.
