Abstract (EN)

This study addresses the critical step of perceiving and interpreting human movements without physical contact using an augmented reality-based "magic mirror" employed in anatomy education. The virtual mirror offers an effective method for a more detailed examination and understanding of body systems. It enables the virtual visualization and interactive exploration of body systems such as the skeletal, muscular, circulatory, and nervous systems. This method allows users to visualize their own bodies in 3D, observing skeletal structures, muscle placement, circulatory pathways, and nerve distribution in real-time. Additionally, an interactive touch gallery provides an opportunity to meticulously examine each component of body systems. Users can zoom in on organs or components to view them in detail and learn the names and characteristics of their parts. This facilitates more effective learning and understanding of anatomical knowledge. Through visual and interactive experiences, users can delve deeper into body systems, comprehend concepts better, and actively utilize anatomical terminology in the learning process. For application and code design, the Unity 3D game development engine and the C# programming language were employed. Throughout this process, the rich features of Unity 3D and the flexibility of the C# programming language facilitated the interactive and user-friendly design of the application. Codes were written to manage the application's functions, user interactions, and data processing, and were tested within Unity 3D's integrated development environment. The Nuitack SDK served as a software development kit to manage interaction with the Kinect sensor, detecting user movements. The creation and processing of anatomical models were achieved using Z-Anatomy and Blender software. This study highlights the potential of augmented reality-based mirror usage in anatomy education. By actively engaging students, it contributes to more effective learning of anatomical knowledge. Students can deeply learn through visual and interactive experiences while exploring body systems using the virtual mirror. Ultimately, it presents a significant example of augmented reality technology's application in anatomy education. The augmented reality-based magic mirror introduces an innovative approach to help students learn and comprehend anatomical knowledge more effectively.
